RAWI meeting on Wednesday 10th April 2024 at 2.00pm

This week RAWI member Joan Apps helps us create greeting cards.
​
Joan has very kindly put together craft packs for us all so that we can learn the art of making wonderful greetings cards. Please bring along small scissors.
Many thanks to Joan for all her hard work and for making this possible.
​
There will be a special raffle at this meeting to raise funds for St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley in memory of Jenny Rawlinson.
​
There will be a fundraising selection of cakes to raise money for St Catherine's - bring a bag incase any cakes are left over.
​

1. The talk is “Crime and Punishment” by April Lewis, who will explain the evolution of our system.
​
2. There will be a raffle in place of the advertised cake stall.
​
3. It is the last chance to buy dates on our lovely Farmers Calendar in aid of “Crossroads Care” our charity of the year. Bring some cash with you to boost the total we are able to give them next month and increase your chances of winning a cash prize - £40 first prize and £20 second prize.
​

7. Christmas Raffle
We will have our usual Christmas Hamper as the prize in the raffle. Please bring any festive contributions (checking that they are in date) to the October and November meetings and give to Yvonne.

We still need a new Secretary starting in November. Please contact any Committee member if you are interested and come to our next Committee meeting.
